Doc Wesson
Doc Wesson has thirty years of “dues paid” experience in the entertainment business. Singing, writing and performing music has taken him all the way from the house band at the legendary Palomino Club in North Hollywood California, to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. His credentials include appearances on Hee Haw, On Stage, The Beach Boys Endless Summer, and the Grand Ole Opry Radio and Television Show. He has played, toured, and recorded with such diverse talents as Highway 101, Johnny Lee, Janne Browne, and Bob Carlisle (Butterfly Kisses). Doc has performed at the Singer/Songwriter festival in Frutigen, Switzerland as well as country music festivals in Badischl, Austria and Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has also sung on internationally released country and gospel CDs.
Doc has also broken into the radio arena. He has worked as a morning show air personality as well as produced the syndicated radio show “Letters from the Trail”. This program was very successful and aired in seventy five markets nationwide for over two years.
To round out his extensive career, Doc owns and operates Behind The Barn Studio which is a 32 track digital recording and mastering facility. Here, he writes and produces jingles for radio and television, does voice-overs and produces & records various artists. He also writes and records his own material. His CD,“Tacky Tunes from Texas”, is a collection of ten totally tasteless tales put to rhythm and rhyme.
